Trust In God

Feeding of the five thousand (John 6:1-15)

Jesus uses other people to bless others. When Jesus asked disciple to find food and found a boy who had five loaves of bread and two fish. The boy gave Him all he had. Here Jesus decides to use the boy for His miracle and turn the five loaves of bread and two fish into something the crowd would be enriched and fed. There are two take away from this point. First one is that He uses others, in this case, His disciples, to be his hands in providing blessings to other. He asks them to find food which they did by the finding the boy with five loaves and two fish. The second is that Jesus uses His children to help others. He uses the boy to help feed a crowd of 5000. By Jesus using the disciples and the boy to bless other,

we are reminded that God uses people like you and me to bless others. There are many times when we are asked by God to help others in need, and this is similar to the very scenario that happened during the Feeding of the five thousand.

Be thankful.

Since the last few months. I have been going through hard time, but does that give me a reason to be unthankful to God. NO! Always be thankful to God. Remember when Jesus rose

Lazarus from death, He thanked God first. Trails are a part of life but what should we do when we are going through trails? Thank God for his goodness. Thank God for what you have. Jesus only had five loaves and two fish and He knew that five loaves and two fish is not enough to feed 5000 people. What did he do? He thanked God and prayed. What happened when He thanked God and prayed, and God blessed Him abundantly. The takeaway from this point is always count your blessings and thank God because God knows your needs like He knew that five loaves and two fish couldn't satisfy 5000. He provided them so much that everyone ate and there were still twelve baskets of leftovers.

Friends always remember that God uses people to bless others, so always remember to bless those in need whenever you can. The second point is always thank God for what you have and whatever is going on in your life because everything that happens in life is according to God's planning and remember His plans are better than ours. So just put your trust in Him and give thanks to Him.

Blessings
